About

Welcome to my blog! My name is Anton Stephan. I'm a biologist, photographer and blogger with a love of all things nature, adventure and travel! I grew up in rural Devon in Southern England surrounded by fields, woodlands and nature! From hiking holidays in the Lake District and snorkelling trips in the Meditteranean; the outdoors was the centre of my younger years and this passion only grew over time!

This passion hit a new level during my Biology degree when I spent a month volunteering in Madagascar studying the rare fauna and flora which is under threat now more than ever before. Here, I worked with local trackers and scientists to find and study the rare endemic species that live here to establish the most effective practices for their conservation. I also trained as a diver; a skill that I have taken all around the world.

I have since travelled far and wide in pursuit of natural beauty, outdoor adventures and stunning wildlife and have documented my experiences in this blog and hope to lend a hand to others looking for similar adventures!

My blog posts and content sinclude my travels to exotic locations, my encounters with wildlife and various outdoor activities with a connection to the natural world and the beauty within it (plus some other adventures too)!

From my origins as someone who simply loved the outdoors to a passion that would take me all around the world, my content has reached individuals, businesses and publishers in every continent and I am grateful that you have joined me on this journey!

This blog is for all who share my passion and are looking for ideas for your next outdoor adventure no matter how near or far! Based on my travels, my posts showcase the wonderful places I have had the privilege of visiting! I hope this site gets you in the mood to explore our natural world in all its beauty and I hope that this blog can lend a hand when you do!
